The Lawrence Park Board of Governors consists of nine (9) volunteer members who dedicate their time to the stewardship of our fine club. The members listed here serve a three year term on the board and are elected by recorded Bondholders of the Club.
Joe
Miele is in his 6th year as President of the Lawrence Park Swim Club.
Joe and his family, wife Laura and children Dana, Joseph, Natalie, and Jenna,
have been members of the pool since 1994. Joe is employed by the Vanguard
Group in Malvern and is also an adjunct instructor at Eastern University
in St. Davids and DeSales University in Allentown.
Monica
is a native New Yorker who has lived in Havertown for the past 12 years.
She and her family have been members of LPSC since 2004. Monica and her
husband
Mike have three daughters who are members of the Lawrence Park Swim Team. In
addition to keeping busy with her children and volunteer activities, Monica
works as a Pediatric Physical Therapist. ![]()
Angela DiProspero, is married and a mother of three boys. She has been
a part of the Lawrence Park Swim Club since she was a young girl and now
enjoys watching her boys make their own memories by being part of our swim
team! Angela also owns and operates a salon in the area where she loves
helping people look and feel their best.![]()
My wife Terry and I
have lived in the Havertown area for 22 years. We have been
members of L.P.S.C. for just as long. We have four children, 3 boys and a girl, ages
from 11 to 18. My career has taken me from being a Mechanical Cad Designer to a
Mechanical Project Manager. I have worked on both national and international projects.
I've had the pleasure of watching my children develop as swimmers and individuals on
Lawrence Park swim team. I have coached various sports teams for my kids as
well as help start up and run a Gaelic football team for children.![]()
My
name is Jennifer Brennan, my husband Mike and I live in Havertown and have 4 children.
My family and I are in our seventh year as a members of Lawrence Park Swim Club,
and I am very excited to be a new member of the board. Besides enjoying
summer days at the pool with the kids, I work at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital as a
Critical Care Nurse.![]()
I am in my 2nd year as Treasurer of LPSC. My parents were original members of our swim
club so I'm an LPSC long-timer. I am an alumni member of the LPSC Swim Team LPSC/Delco
-league Volleyball, and have been an LP Swim-a-thon swimmer (since '09). I am married
w/ 2 children; B. S. in Electrical Engineering - Villanova University, w/ minors in Math
and Computer Science. I'm a Senior Engineer w/ 28+ years exp. w/PJM Interconnection
in Valley Forge, working hard to help keep the lights on for 60M+ folks living/working
in 13 states and the District of Columbia.
Eileen McShane is in her 6th year on the LPSC Board serving as Bond Secretary. Eileen,husband
Blake, and 7 children ranging in age 31 to 15 have been active members of LP since 1988. Blake
was LPST's head coach for 7 years. All of her children have grown upswimming for our team and
her family has created many memories on the decks of the pool.Blake and Eileen instituted and
launched the first LPST annual 100 mile swim-a-thon supporting Alex's Lemonade Stand in 2004
which is now in its 8th year. Eileen works for a small business.![]()
